Mel (Head Trainer/ Owner)

Cert IV in Fitness & CF-L1

Mel has been involved within the fitness industry for many years, from playing and coaching many sports to being a PE/Health/Science teacher and also a mum of 3 girls. Mel first started at YouFit in 2018, and found a love for Functional Fitness, which led to becoming a trainer and then to owning YouFit in 2020. Her passion is to create an environment that is inclusive to all to help everyone become a better version of themselves. She has great attention to detail for quality and safe movement for all aspects of functional training. Mel is always looking for ways to broaden her knowledge in fitness. Mel’s core value is Movement for Life.

Nath

Cert IV in Fitness

Nathan enjoys helping others succeed. He thrives on witnessing member’s achievements and reaching their goals. Nath is someone who will find you at the back of the gym and always demonstrate ways to improve your movement even when you don’t realise you need it. He is willing to take the time to break down the movement in a simple way, to ensure you get the technique correct. Come down and experience the support and love this gym will give you.

Shaz

Cert III in Fitness

Shaz became a trainer to help others grow. She found a love for CrossFit style training and wanted to share that love. Her goal is to help people achieve things they never thought they could do and watch them become better versions of themselves physically, and most importantly, mentally. Her favourite moments are all firsts. The first time you try a movement, the first time you get a PR, the first time you help a new member, the first time you get that feeling of OMG I just did that! Those firsts then become seconds, thirds and that feeling of accomplishment never goes away, it just gets stronger.

Bri

Cert IV in Fitness & CF-L1

Bri was introduced to YouFit back in 2018 by her sister Mel, which started her journey into improving herself physically and mentally. Fitness helped Bri to conquer bad habits, build determination and confidence. There is something about teaching, guiding & encouraging people to become stronger, healthier and happier versions of themselves that gives her purpose. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing people achieve things they thought were impossible or out of reach.

Bill

Cert III in Fitness

Bill joined CrossFit in 2010 on a fitness journey. His goal was to get fit so he could climb mountains. After being involved for a few years, Bill had the opportunity to help out with sessions and become a trainer. Being able to help people with the correct techniques is the key point for Bill, helping reduce injury risk while getting maximum benefits from the exercise. Seeing people begin their journey then develop those skills gives Bill a huge lift. If in some way his motivation helps you to reach your goals then that gives him great satisfaction.

Robyn

Cert III in Fitness

Robyn became a trainer to give back to the place that gave her so much. YouFit has aided her recovery from two major surgeries. It helped her to get back into fitness when she needed it the most. As a trainer, Robyn uses what helped her to help others. She inspires others to follow a lifetime of health and wellbeing through exercise. Robyn believes that we shouldn’t take things for granted and YouFit has helped her to realise that. Robyn wants to assist you on your fitness journey or even your road on recovery.
